History

Till late 90s the Island was a property of Beaufond family from Réunion and during their age they used this island for growing fruit and spices and after the course of plantation the island was sole and it remained unused.

But it was in 1977 the north island was sold to Wilderness Holdings Limited, an ecotourism company from South Africa who developed this island as their private resort.
